Analysis

Platinum Lake PV13 is a high density condominium with 23 units per floor, hence, if you are looking to have a bit more privacy then this might not be the place for you. There were also comments about the toilets being too small due to a pillar block which was not in the layout plan.
Apart from that, the ceiling was made out of asbestos ceiling board which some commented looked like the ceilings in the office units. Others were also worried about the kitchen space and whether a kitchen cabinet would fit into the space. Some potential buyers have also commented about PV13 being too near to the main road.
However, units that are facing the pool are quite pleasant and some buyers seem to like it. There are also units facing the breathtaking view of the Kuala Lumpur city centre which is a real treat nowadays considering many residential developments are blocked by the many high rise building nowadays.
If you have the extra money, Platinum Lake PV13 can also become a good source of investment as there are many students from TAR who are looking to rent rooms that are within close vicinity to their university and with the development of departmental stores such as Parkson Genting Klang, Mondrian and Crystalville, rental yield looks promising in the coming future.

Platinum Lake PV10 is one of those condominiums that has everything. It is not expensive, it has a strategic location and it is not as dense as some condominiums are. Getting around is pretty easy, even if one doesn’t own a car, because there are 2 LRT stations nearby, namely Wangsa Maju and Melawati LRT stations.
Looking through the forums and classifieds, there are a lot of people renting their units out to students, which is convenient for them seeing as how close UTAR and Tar College are. This is something to take note as some people are not comfortable staying around so many students

Platinum Hill PV8 in Setapak is developed by Platinum Victory Sdn Bhd. It is not surprisingly synonymous with the namesake of such a development. For a start, the view available from this address is simply amazing considering how close it is to the city centre. And of course the convenience with which one can get to and fro from here is also one point to note.
But most of all, the amenities and facilities at Platinum Hill PV8 are definitely worth every penny spent. From the basic swimming pools to the gymnasiums that one would expect from such a place, and moving on to the nursery and laundrette and saloon, together with the house keeping services available here makes it one heck of an address to own. Platinum Hill PV6 is another luxurious condominium building by Platinum Victory. With an impressive entrance as well as a spacious living area, there is no doubt that the units are of satisfactory quality and an affordable price for any investor. For investors who wish to rent out a unit here, the catchment of tenants are middle to high income tenants, which is always good news.

Platinum Hill PV2 is another sought after property as most of the cheaper units were already sold out not long after its launch. However, Platinum Hill PV2 is often being compared to other Platinum Hill condominium series like PV3, PV8, and PV5 and so on. Many have stated that PV2 is sitting on the worst location as compared to other Platinum Hill condominiums as it is located just next to the MRR2 highway, a petrol station and a fire station.
But there are also some of the more positive ones stating that there will be potential for the value of PV2 to appreciate as Sime Darby is looking to develop the land across the street of PV2.
